2011 Gevrey-Chambertin Village (Pinot Noir)

Domaine Faiveley's 2011 Gevrey-Chambertin Village Les Marchais is created from vines ageing up to 71 years old. The single-grape Pinot Noir matures in oak, in 19-century vaulted cellars, for optimum ageing conditions.

This Burgundy reveals a deep red and black cherry hue, with strong, pure fruit scents. Very ripe fruits on the palate as well, pleasantly supple tannins combined with delicate wood. Fleshy, very elegant, this Pinot Noir should drink well between 2018 and 2021.
