The 2010 Mazis Chambertin Grand Cru from Domaine Faiveley is 100% Pinot Noir. This Burgundy wine gets its name from the small houses called "mazis" that once stood on the plot.
The wine displays a dark garnet-tinted red colour. The nose is dominated by hints of vanilla coffee creamer. The palate is finely chiselled and holds a good mineral character. The finish of the 2010 Mazis Chambertin Grand Cru offers a nice balance between a strong structure and a good ripeness. Aromatic and persistent, the finish is elegant. This wine is a fine wine from Burgundy.
