Domaine Faiveley : Pommard Village "Les Vaumuriens" 2007

2007 Pommard Village, Pinot Noir, Burgundy

The 2007 Pommard Vaumuriens of Domaine Faiveley is only composed of Pinot Noir, the main grape variety of the region. 
The wine displays a beautiful garnet-tinted really dark red colour. The strong nose gives off ripe red and black berries, followed by grilled mokka notes. On the palate, this wine from Burgundy offers marked but not strong tannins and the wood character is restrained. The 2007 Pommard Vaumuriens has an excellent ageing potential and can be opened between 2017 and 2022.
