Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru Les Demoiselles 2009 ofLouis Latour : an ample, round and velvety white wine

The Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru Les Demoiselles of Louis Latour is a single-varietal Chardonnay white wine produced in the Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru appellation. Aged 40 years on average, the vines are planted on soils made of clay and chalk. The wine is only aged in new oak barrels for 8 to 10 months on average.

This 2009 Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru displays a pale yellow colour. A beautiful complexity is felt on the nose. The aromatic palette is composed of hawthorn, white fruit and honey aromas. The mid-palate of this Burgundy wine is ample, round and velvety. The 2009 Chevalier-Montrachet Grand cru Les Demoiselles of Louis Latour is pleasant, with a good structure on the palate. A few years of ageing are necessary in order to fully appreciate the finesse and quintessence of this Grand Cru
