The 2012 Corton Grand Cru Clos de Vigne au Saint of Louis Latour comes from a vineyard that has belonged to the Latour family since the 19th century. Located on the hill of Corton, the Pinot Noir vineyard enjoys a good South orientation at the foot of the hill as well as a marl-rich soil that enables a wonderful expression of the grape-varietal. The 2012 Corton Clos de Vigne au Saint of Louis Latour displays a beautiful ruby red colour which announces the finesse of this wine. The nose reveals a delicate aromatic intensity dominated by red berry aromas. The palate is round with supple tannins. The finish is good and marked by liquorice notes.
