A Meursault 1er Cru white wine, full-bodied on the palate

The Meursault 1er Cru "Les Charmes" from Maison Louis Latour is a single-varietal Chardonnay white wine produced in the Meursault 1er Cru appellation. The average age of the vineyard is 35 years, planted on a soil made up of a marl and limestone base. The wine is matured in oak barrels (of which 50% are new barrels), over a period of 8 to 10 months, depending on the vintage.

Pale yellow in colour, the Meursault 1er Cru "Les Charmes" 2011 from Maison Louis Latour gives off floral aromas, with notes of honey and fresh almonds. The wine is full-bodied on the palate, offering a subtle woody and a splendid mineral finish.
