Elaborated from Chardonnay from vines selected from the Grands Crus cuvées of the Côte des Blancs (Cramant, Avize, Chouilly), the Champagne Cuvée de la Table Ronde of the house Lancelot Pienne can only be a guest of honour at the finest tables. This exceptional cuvée blends the results of the 2013 harvest (80%) with reserve wines kept according to the Spanish "Solera" system, originating from Andalusia.
Harmonious and of great precision, the Cuvée de la Table Ronde of the House of Lancelot Pienne faithfully represents the style of the house, wishing to produce only wines of author, low dosage (3.5 g/l), highlighting the terroir.
Of a beautiful golden colour, the Cuvée de la Table Ronde is remarkable by the elegance of its colour. The delicate aromas of buttered brioche first charm the nose, before giving way to the pure mineral expression of the terroir of the Côte des Blancs and Cramant in particular. This cuvée does not deny its origins! The palate confirms with elegance and purity what the nose suggests: greedy pastry notes, toasted notes of brioche... All the complexity of this very special terroir is revealed by expressing a beautiful minerality marked by the saltiness of the iodine notes.
If the aperitif suits him perfectly, the Cuvée de la Table Ronde invites you to share all the time of the meal. Champagne for gourmets and gourmands, the Cuvée de la Table Ronde will be the perfect match for a beautiful fish, pressed cooked cheeses whose salt crystals will combine perfectly with the fresh saltiness of this Champagne.
