Intense and fresh, the nose exudes fruity notes (vineyard peach, redcurrant), citrus (blood orange) as well as red apricot from Roussillon.

The depth and fruitiness of a great Rosé Champagne
The estate
Founded in 1776 in Reims, the Champagne Louis Roederer House has remained family-owned and independent. After more than 200 years of existence, the Louis Roederer House is still in the hands of the same family. Today led by Frédéric Rouzaud, who embodies the seventh generation of the lineage, the Louis Roederer House represents the excellence of Champagne wines throughout the world thanks to cuvées crafted like works of art.
The vineyard
With nearly 241 hectares of vines, the Louis Roederer House draws its strength from its extraordinary vineyard, made up exclusively of Grands and Premiers Crus in the Vallée de la Marne, the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs. A true mosaic of terroirs, the Louis Roederer House vineyard is divided into 410 plots that reflect the full diversity of the soils of Champagne.
The wine
This Cuvée Rosé Vintage 2016 from Louis Roederer comes from the La Rivière vineyard, in the villages of Chouilly and Cumières. This gift box includes a bottle of this iconic cuvée as well as two elegant tasting flutes.
The vintage
A cool, wet spring was followed by a hot, dry summer, particularly at the end of August, whose heatwave peak ensured good berry ripeness.
Winemaking and aging
Vinified in wood at a rate of 21%, this Rosé Champagne is crafted using an "infusion" method, a technique involving the maceration of Pinot Noir juices with a small amount of Chardonnay juices, allowing for a perfect integration of the grape varieties. Malolactic fermentation carried out at 4%. Dosage is 8g/l.
Blend
This Rosé Vintage 2016 from Louis Roederer is made from a blend of Pinot Noir (62%) and Chardonnay (38%).
