Domaine Chanson 2010 Beaune Premier Cru Bressandes was named after the 13th century Canon of Beaune, Jean Bressand who owned the vineyard. This 100% Pinot Noir grows on a two-hectare parcel, located higher on the slope. Great sun exposure brings mature and fresh flavours to the wine. Domaine Chanson 2010 Beaune Premier Cru Bressandes is aged in oak barrels for 20 months. The deep ruby wine exudes intense and complex aromas. Ripe fruit (cassis), coffee, spices, and vanilla notes dominate the nose. The palate carries a lovely texture: balanced, and elegant. The perfect balance of well-integrated wood and fine tannins provides for a wonderful persistence.
