Saint-Aubin village is located between famous white wine vineyards: Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet. The vineyard lies on rocky, limestone-clay soils which add delicious mineral notes to the wine. Domaine Chanson's 2010 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Les Pitengerets is 100% Chardonnay, perfectly expressed following ideal weather conditions and scrupulous vinification. Aged 13 months in oak, the 2010 Burgundy reveals a lot of freshness on the nose, with crunchy grapefruit, pear, as well as hints of honey and vanilla. The palate is complex, generous, and very pure, with fresh and persistent finish.
