In 2006, Armand de Brignac unveiled its first cuvée, Brut Gold, a unique and prestigious wine that boasts the excellence of Champagne.
The Armand de Brignac cuvées are produced from HVE 3 certified vineyards located in prestigious Champagne crus.
In keeping with the Champagne region’s traditional blending techniques, this cuvée has been produced since 2008 and comprises a blend of three vintages (2009, 2010 and 2012).
Produced from vineyards in the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims, this modern-day luxury champagne is presented in an opaque bottle covered with a layer of metal. Meticulously applied by hand, the bottle is adorned with a French pewter label, featuring the brand's iconic "Ace of Spades".
The dosage for this champagne is 8 grams per litre.
Vinification and ageing
Manual harvesting. Only the cuvée is kept for the elaboration of this champagne in order to develop a soft texture and a balanced acidity. Upon disgorgement, the addition of a liqueur de tirage comprising the finest base wine of the harvest, aged for one year in French oak barrels, gives a delicious complexity with pastry, toasted and vanilla notes.
The colour is a beautiful pale gold.
The nose blends fruity fragrances (ripe pear) with delicious notes of grilled hazelnuts and pastry, reminiscent of gingerbread.
The palate is seduced by this wine’s fruity (redcurrant, guava, peach) and spicy aromas, sustained by a smooth minerality.
Food and wine pairing
A beautiful champagne with a perfect acidity, this Blanc de Blancs wine will complement sashimi, sushi, shellfish carpaccio, grilled sea bass or light cheese.
Enjoy now, Armand de Brignac's Blanc de Blancs Silver can be cellared until around 2036.
