The 2007 Clos Vougeot of Louis Latour reveals a complex nose of woodland, red and black berries fragrances. On the palate, this Grand Cru is ample, rich with a good strength and a beautiful length. As soon as the 12th century, the Cistercian monks of Cîteaux abbey, proprietors of Clos Vougeot, have practiced viticulture there. They built the vat-room with four monumental presses with capstan, made of oak wood. They also built the great cellar with a capacity of 2000 casks of wine. It is a heritage to discover on site.
